Daniel E. Peterson, LLIF, LUTCF, is the President and CEO of e4 Brokerage. He is known for his innovative approaches and creating a culture that is quick, responsive, accurate and knowledgeable. Throughout Dan's distinguished career in the insurance industry, he has successfully developed high-level revenues for hundreds of agents and agencies.

He has been instrumental in developing and managing brokerage and independent channels of distribution. He worked as an independent insurance agent in the state of New York for four years and specialized in the 403(b) marketplace as he built an independent brokerage agency. He has worked in the insurance business for over 20 years. He served as Sr. Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Clarica US, an A+ rated life insurance company that was purchased by Sun Life of Canada in 2002. He has also built several insurance marketing organizations, including Maxx Financial which merged with Partners Advantage. Dan serves as a director with Partners Advantage Insurance Services. He has written several articles that have published in national trade publications and is a frequent speaker on the topics of estate planning, premium financing and the benefits.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA). NAILBA is the premier insurance industry organization promoting financial security and consumer choice through the use of independent brokerage distribution. NAILBA member agencies represent 250,000 producers who deliver more than four billion dollars in first year life insurance premiums annually.
